1. About tactac.love

tactac.love provides personalized, AI-generated video greetings for private, personal use. The service is operated by:

“We”, “us” and “our” refer to discover IT GmbH. “You” refers to the user or purchaser of the service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using tactac.love or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
  • You confirm that all information you provide is accurate.
  • You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

4. Ordering Process

The typical order workflow is:

  1. Select a story / video template.
  2. Enter your name and email address (both required).
  3. Enter the recipient’s first name.
  4. Optionally choose one or more of the following:
    • Direct delivery by email to the recipient: If selected, you must provide the recipient’s email address so we can send the video link to them.
    • Personal message: You may add a personal message to be included in the delivery email (if you choose direct delivery).
    • Show the personal message on the video page: You may choose to display your personal message on the video viewing page (with or without direct email delivery).
  5. Optionally apply a voucher code before checkout. If provided, the voucher will be validated during order creation.
  6. Review and confirm your order.
  7. Pay securely via Stripe.
  8. Your video is automatically generated and delivered as selected.

Important notes about optional delivery and messages

  • If you select direct delivery to the recipient, you confirm that you have permission to share the recipient’s email address with us and to instruct us to send them the video link and (if you provided one) your personal message.
  • If you provide a personal message, you are responsible for its content and for ensuring it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
  • Personal messages are final once submitted as part of your order and cannot be edited later.

Tell A Friend (launch promotion)

We may offer a “Tell A Friend” feature where you can invite a friend by providing your name, your email address, and your friend’s email address. To help prevent abuse and ensure delivery, we may verify your email address by sending you a verification code that must be entered to proceed.

If the Tell A Friend promotion is available, both you (the sender) and your friend (the recipient) may receive a promotional voucher (e.g., 50% off) that can be used within 3 months of issuance, subject to any conditions shown with the voucher.

This is a launch promotion and may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time at our sole discretion. We may withhold or cancel vouchers in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

By using Tell A Friend, you confirm that you have your friend’s permission to share their email address with us and to request that we send them an invitation and, if applicable, a voucher.

5. Payment

Payments are processed exclusively by Stripe. We do not store full credit card details.

Orders are only processed after successful payment confirmation.

If payment is declined or fails, no video will be generated.

Vouchers

If we offer voucher codes, they must be entered on tactac.love before checkout and are validated during order creation. Voucher codes cannot be added or applied on the Stripe checkout page.

Voucher codes may be subject to restrictions (e.g., expiry, one-time use, minimum order value, or eligibility requirements). We may refuse, cancel, or revoke a voucher if we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

6. Delivery of Your Video

You will receive:

  • a download link, and/or
  • a shareable video URL.

Depending on the options you selected, we may send the video link to your email address and/or directly to the recipient’s email address. If you provided a personal message, it may be included in the delivery email and/or shown on the video page, as selected by you.

Delivery usually takes just a few minutes. Actual speed depends on third-party AI infrastructure (e.g., Google Veo, Google Transcoder, ElevenLabs) and system load.

Personalized videos are stored in secure cloud storage for up to 30 days. After that, they are automatically deleted and cannot be restored.

We recommend downloading and saving your video if you want to keep it longer.

7. Licence & Permitted Use

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the video for your private use.

You may:

  • download and store the video;
  • share it privately or on your personal social media;

You may not:

  • sell or commercially distribute the video;
  • alter it in a way that infringes third-party rights;
  • use it for hateful, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful purposes;
  • upload or distribute it as part of a commercial service.

8. Refund Policy

8.1 General Rule

Because every video is uniquely generated for you, all sales are normally final once rendering has begun.

8.2 When a Refund May Be Granted

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • the video cannot be generated due to a technical failure;
  • you do not receive a working download link despite successful payment;
  • all recovery attempts fail and the video cannot be produced.

8.3 Non-Refundable Cases

  • you entered the wrong name, email address, or misspelled the name;
  • you changed your mind after purchase;
  • successful delivery of a working video link;
  • you submitted inappropriate, offensive or prohibited content.

8.4 Refund Process

If you believe you qualify, contact us via the Impressum with your order details. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

9. Technical Issues

Video generation depends on external AI systems (e.g., Google Veo, Google Transcoder, ElevenLabs). Temporary interruptions or delays may occur. We will attempt recovery or otherwise apply the Refund Policy as appropriate.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

We process only the data required to create and deliver your video. For full details, including our use of external processors such as AI providers, cloud storage and SendGrid, see our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Swiss law:

  • We are not liable for temporary service interruptions.
  • We are not liable for delays or failures caused by external providers (payment processors, email providers, hosting or AI systems), provided that we have selected and monitored them with reasonable care.
  • We are not liable for errors caused by your input (e.g. incorrect name or email address).

Our liability is limited to fulfilling your order or issuing a refund where applicable.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law (substantive law).

Where legally permitted, the courts of Luzern, Switzerland, have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
